Artifact: Digital Toolbox

(Module 8: STEM, Coding & Digital Literacy)

As part of my commitment to continuous professional growth, I developed a comprehensive Digital Toolbox using Evernote, where I curated and organized a variety of instructional, technical, and productivity tools relevant to Career and Technical Education, specifically within advanced manufacturing and machining. This toolbox includes resources such as CAD/CAM software (e.g., Fusion 360), CNC simulation tools (e.g., NC Viewer), cybersecurity platforms (e.g., KnowBe4, EverFi), and AI-driven tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT).

This artifact aligns with ISTE Educator Standard 1: Learner, as it reflects my proactive effort to explore emerging technologies and evaluate their application in both educational and workforce contexts. By utilizing Evernote as an organizational platform, I was able to systematically collect, categorize, and access these tools efficiently, enhancing both my instructional planning and day-to-day productivity.

Additionally, the development of this toolbox demonstrates my commitment to ongoing learning and professional improvement by identifying, organizing, and applying digital resources that enhance teaching effectiveness and student engagement. This process supports more informed instructional decisions, improves efficiency, and fosters a more innovative and adaptive learning environment.
