Designing Engaging and Visual Learning Materials

This section aligns with ISTE Educator Standard 5: Designer, as it showcases a collection of instructional materials developed using digital tools to support student engagement and understanding within Career and Technical Education. These artifacts—including infographics, a trifold brochure, and interactive learning activities—were intentionally designed to present information in clear, visually structured, and engaging formats.

By applying principles of visual hierarchy, organization, and accessibility, these materials demonstrate my ability to design effective learning resources that communicate complex concepts, reinforce key ideas, and connect classroom instruction to real-world applications. Through the use of technology, I am able to create learning experiences that enhance comprehension, promote engagement, and support diverse learners.

These infographics were designed to visually communicate key concepts related to instructional tools, student engagement, and the value of technical education, using clear layout and structured design to enhance understanding.


Trifold Brochure

This brochure presents emerging technologies such as smart machining, AI, and simulation in a visually organized format, connecting classroom learning to real-world workforce applications.

Artifact: Trifold Brochure – Smart Machining, AI, and Simulation in CTE

This trifold brochure was developed to introduce and explain emerging technologies in Career and Technical Education, including smart machining, artificial intelligence (AI), and simulation-based learning. The brochure was designed to present complex technical concepts in a clear, visually organized format that is accessible to students and stakeholders.

By using digital design tools, I created a resource that highlights the relevance of these technologies within modern manufacturing and workforce development. The layout and structure were intentionally designed to guide the reader through key concepts while maintaining engagement through visuals and concise content.

This artifact demonstrates my ability to design instructional materials that support student understanding, connect classroom learning to real-world applications, and promote awareness of evolving industry practices.
