📄 Word Processing Assignment – National Technical Honor Society
This Word Processing assignment allowed me to apply Microsoft 365 Word skills in a real-world context by developing materials connected to the revitalization of our National Technical Honor Society chapter. I focused on creating a polished, professional document using structured headings, styles, table of contents tools, and accessibility features such as alternate text. The project reinforced the importance of organization, clarity, and professional presentation in educational leadership.
The peer assessment component was equally valuable. Using a structured rubric to evaluate a classmate’s work strengthened my ability to assess quality and alignment with expectations. Receiving feedback on my own document encouraged refinement and attention to detail—skills that directly translate into my role as an educator and division chair. Ultimately, this assignment supported my ongoing commitment to building and investing in students by modeling the level of excellence and professionalism I expect from them.
