Citizen (ISTE Standard 2.3)

Educators inspire students to positively contribute to and responsibly participate in the digital world.

This artifact aligns with ISTE Educator Standard 2.3 (Citizen) by promoting responsible and ethical technology use through a digital citizenship inquiry project. Using Microsoft Forms, I gathered and analyzed responses on digital footprint and online reputation, then translated those findings into a clear, visually engaging infographic.

This work demonstrates my ability to design meaningful, technology-integrated learning experiences that encourage critical thinking, responsible online behavior, and awareness of the long-term impact of digital actions.

Digital Footprint

This project was developed using Microsoft Forms to collect data on digital citizenship and online behavior. The survey was shared through social media to gather a range of responses, which were then analyzed to identify key trends and insights. Those findings were used to design a visual infographic that communicates the importance of digital footprint and responsible technology use in a clear and engaging way. The infographic reflects real input from participants and highlights common themes related to awareness, behavior, and consequences. Cybersecurity Awareness Video

This artifact demonstrates my commitment to promoting responsible and safe use of technology in educational and workforce settings. This cybersecurity awareness video highlights key concepts such as digital safety, online responsibility, and the long-term impact of one’s digital footprint. Developed within the context of Career and Technical Education, the video connects cybersecurity principles to real-world applications, emphasizing their importance in both academic and professional environments.

The video serves as an example of how educators can use technology to raise awareness, encourage responsible digital behavior, and prepare students to navigate an increasingly connected world.
